At some banks that do not charge a fee, an intermediary bank may be used to facilitate the transfer, and that institution may charge a fee. Hey Carl, that sounds like the Chase quick pay limit which I know is $2,000 for a lot of people. I just wired over $10,000 the other day so I know the limit is well over $2000 for wire transfers.
